Racking varies greatly from one project to another. There are different racking systems for different roof and ground types. Most commercial and municipal roofs are flat and require an angled racking unit with ballast instead and roof penetration is rarely required. All racking types, whether on a landfill or an TPO roof, are engineered for maximum resistance against wind and tear-out pressure.
