Maintenance
Under a Power Purchase Agreement, Greenskies is responsible for the maintenance of the solar array for the term of the agreement at no cost to the project host. Generally, due to the lack of combustion and moving parts, solar arrays require little maintenance, however, annual system checkups ensure that the system is performing optimally. A technician will monitor the roof or ground space that houses the array and ensure that all disconnect switches, wiring and inverters are functioning correctly. In the event that a component or portion of the system goes offline at any point and for any reason, a Greenskies technician will be immediately notified by the online monitoring system and someone will be out to the site within hours.
